Jody Scalise is a mime, dancer, singer, choreographer, consultant, actor, producer, spiritual activist, writer, director and martial artist. Along with Linda Scalise he is known as Double Vision.Among his accolades are: Former member of the National Mime Theater, Cast member of the Emmy Award winning children's TV show-"Catch a Rainbow" for ABC. American Cable Award winner for his performance on WGBY with the Springfield Symphony-"The Orchestra's Talking". He founded and directed the "Wright Brothers", who won "Best of the Fest" at the International Movement Festival. Recently he wrote and directed "Perspectives" for Meghan Burk a Miss Vermont Pageant entrant. The piece won the "Talent Award" at the Pageant.He founded the New England Mime Festival. Jody has performed for over 1000 health forums in the US in an effort to teach young people to make "healthy choices." He has recently completed an original video entitled, "RESPECT", which is a character education piece encouraging bully prevention, team work, and tolerance. Jody has performed at the Mass. State House, Lincoln Center, Universities, and is a featured artist at Soulfest. | |
